My rules for TV

Have you ever met one of those annoying people who would always make you put a coffee cup on a coaster? Those people who would fuss if you put garbage into the wrong recycling bin, or get all upset about their toast being a little burnt? I'm like that....when it comes to TV...(and movies, for that matter). Ironically I don't even own a freaking television, I watch it all on my laptop.

I almost exclusively prefer comedies. The main reason for this is that comedies work for any time of the day, pretty much every mood and don't leave you an emotional wreck every time a character is killed off. When starting a new TV series, I prescribe it as mandatory to watch the first 3 episodes before making up your mind to decide whether or not to continue with it. Pilots are only a short introduction, watching a couple of extra episodes gives you a solid idea of the style of humor and a nice insight into the characters. If you're not hooked by no.3, it's probably not worth it.

Anyways, I'm going to start reviewing some of my favorite TV shows, starting with the ones I used to watch a while back, and continuing in a random order with whatever strikes my fancy.

Next review is for

Friends (1994-2004)

Stay tuned....
